CMN Yachts have a heritage that dates back to 1912 when Felix Amiot aircraft put Normandy on the aeronautical stage. Aircraft design and production gave way to shipbuilding, both commercial and military, developing advanced high performance vessels and was the driving force to develop the shipyard into cutting-edge computer technologies, engineering techniques and quality work hand-in-hand with the ability to compress build times which impacts now on the production of high quality, exceptionally engineered luxury superyachts. Milestones over the intervening years, from commercial and military shipbuilding to the luxury superyachts of today, have created the power house that includes cutting edge composite engineers, JMV Industries and a yard driven by passionate people equipped with the latest digital tools to produce exceptional products. The journey to reach the highest levels in yacht building started in 1960, setting the future for many more milestone achievements. It is in the sixties that CMN brought their knowledge of leading edge technology to the yachting industry with the construction of serials of Maïca, an 11-metre sailing yacht designed by Illingworth and Primrose.
