On sea trials, several timed runs confirmed a speed of 17 knots, a good .7 knots (point seven) above specification. The higher designed speed being achieved (above ‘Netanya 8’) through a longer displacement length and a flatter aft section providing less drag and more lift, also resulting in a longer potential range. The redesigned 60m Line 60 hull offers a wide application of custom layouts and creative thinking because of its large volume. This can be seen clearly with the Andrew Winch Design solutions when you view the space, sight-lines and vistas found on ‘Slipstream’ which is an evolution of the highly acclaimed ‘Netanya 8’ keeping many of the key features and layout but raising the bar higher, which is the philosophy of the CMN Line 60 collection for the next yacht under construction.
