The first impression on touring ‘Slipstream’ is one of space and volume, a hallmark of the Line 60 naval architecture from CMN Yachts is the flexibility of creating unique custom interiors within a tried-and-tested seaworthy hull design. Andrew Winch Designs has used this fresh canvas to create the optimum use of the space available and through the clever use of colour and textures, has painted the illusion of a much larger yacht.
Throughout the yacht there is a recurring motif of ‘waves’, from carved wood panels, fabrics, carpet and glazing. Cabins have a rich focus set in a classically simple setting, small pieces of art adding colour punctuation. Carefully selected woods and marble create the luxury environment. The central Atrium of three decks climbs through the interior, emphasised by the unique three carved Canadian Totem Poles, produced by the British Columbian artist Stanley E Hunt, depicting the spirits of her owners and topped by a soaring eagle with wings spread wide – ready to fly across the oceans.
The dramatic exterior architecture, accentuated by the dark and metallic colour scheme, comes alive both on the dock, at anchor and underway. Whichever way you look at the exterior, the firm yet flowing lines create a very sleek and powerful appearance. No superyacht destined to become a significant charter yacht would be complete without a full complement of tenders and toys. ‘Slipstream’ is no exception featuring:
Main Tenders:
Two 22’ stern-drive NauticaTM tenders stowed in the garage.
• Jet-skis: Two Jet-skis, 3 SeadooTM seated wave runners, stowed on the fore deck. Has the possibility to stow the jet-skis on the aft main deck for crossings.
• MOB (Man overboard) Rescue boat:
• 14’ Castoldi jet which can be used by as a crew tender which is stowed on the fore deck.
