Normally a charter yacht would start out with an interior design and layout then build a yacht around this concept. With ‘Friday Star’, the opposite was the way the project came to be. Using the same light-weight construction techniques this 43.3m (139ft) yacht was transformed into a luxury, high performance, charter vessel of the very best pedigree.

CMN Yacht Division have managed to create the perfect synergy in creating a charter vessel with outstanding performance based on this fine Marc Lombard design without sacrificing any of the high standards initially specified in the original race proven yacht.

This remarkable three masted schooner is the sistership of the 1972 OSTAR single-handed transatlantic racing yacht, skippered by Jean-Yves Terlain, ‘Vendredi 13’.

Building on this success CMN Yacht Division created a charter yacht for the Stardust Marine fleet to the same basic high-tech specification but fitted out for serious (and fast!) cruising.
